Project Description
We were asked by Firecracker Works, a leading specialist set design company for events to construct a series of aluminium flowers for a window display designed by Zoe Bradley.
The flower designs comprised layers of aluminium leaves. The stamens and smaller drop flowers in the centre of the design were laser cut but the majority of petals were cut into shape by us in house.
We then curved and folded them one by one before handing the 300 component parts back to Firecracker Works, who painted them in their new state of the art spray painting department.
Next, whilst we assembled the flower components, Firecracker Works set up the truss that we were to use on site in their vast workshop, so we were able to work out the positions of the flowers in advance and pre-attach all the fixings.
The flowers were too big and heavy to assemble on site so needed to be taken apart and re-assembled in situ at Pandora Oxford sheet.
Thank you Firecracker Works for your expert guidance and organisational expertise. We also enjoyed building this impressive facade in full detail to reflect Zoe Bradley’s design.
